The Trees: The Art of Ceramics
The art of ceramics has a rich and centuries-old tradition in Naples. Since 1739, when Charles III, King of the Two Sicilies, founded the first Neapolitan factory near his palace on the Capodimonte hill, numerous artists have contributed to making this ceramic school famous.
Among the families that have distinguished themselves in this tradition, there is the Prestieri family and their Alberelli. The Gli Alberelli company is renowned for its entirely hand-decorated production. This ancient art continues to be carried forward by prestigious Masters, who with dedication create unique creations.
The Alberelli are distinguished not only by the traditional Capodimonte line, but also by a more modern line, with monochromatic shapes and shades that allow each work to be easily integrated into any environment.
The prestigious furniture and architecture magazine AD defined them as "precious artefacts with a refined and elegant taste", recommending them to its readers. A further recognition was obtained in March 2018, during the 17th edition of the Salone Internazionale, at the Hotel Michelangelo in Milan.
In addition to being appreciated as furnishing accessories, Gli Alberelli products are highly sought after as wedding favors for special events, representing an example of excellence in ceramic art, combining tradition and modernity.
