The sea beyond the glass windows, the shades of blue, and a common thread that guided guests from the entrance to the sugared almond table. At the Bellevue Syrene in Sorrento, we created a design based on the theme “The Islands of Love”, using coordinated, personalized details.
The idea was that of a journey: each table an island, each guest a sailor, and every detail a small part of the same story.
The little boats and the logbook
For the table numbers, we chose personalized little boats bearing the name of the island, turning a practical element into a decoration waiting to be discovered.
On board, the “Logbook” presented the menu and the day’s tasting menu with graphics inspired by the world of sailing. Aged-effect paper, nautical motifs, and cords completed the design in harmony with the theme.

Four coral colors for the table
At each place setting, a small ceramic coral, resting on a mother-of-pearl stand and accompanied by marine decorations, welcomed the guests.
We chose four colors, using a single shade for each table and alternating them among the different tables in the room. This choice maintained order in each place setting while creating a vibrant, luminous overall effect as guests entered.
The white tablecloths and transparent glassware made these small accents of color stand out.

Flowers and marine motifs, with a delicate touch
The centerpieces maintained a classic feel: white roses, light blue hydrangeas, and small white flowers, with greenery adding movement to the arrangements.
A few decorative touches evoked the marine world without overwhelming the overall design. The theme emerged through carefully placed details, leaving room for the flowers and the view.
The chairs also contributed to the room’s harmonious feel. The white chair covers, known as “ghost” covers, were embellished with light blue bows made of delicate netting, completed with shells and small marine elements.
The welcome sign: each island, a group of sailors
To welcome the guests, the “The Islands of Love” welcome sign was printed on duchesse fabric.
Each island corresponded to a table and displayed the names of its sailors. The presentation, enhanced with netting and shells, introduced the day’s story and guided the guests to their seats.

The sweet finale: gourmet sugared almonds and personalized favors
The journey continued to the sugared almond table, designed to echo the same theme through its colors, materials, and small nautical details.
The selection of gourmet sugared almonds was carefully chosen for its flavors and presentation, offering guests a moment of tasting and discovery.
Next to the sugared almond table were the favors: Sharon ceramic horns, personalized with handmade decorations, in harmony with the style chosen for the event. A keepsake to take home, connected to the story of the day.

This design reflects our way of working: starting with an idea and creating a dialogue between colors, materials, and objects.
With Le Favole Living, you can choose to personalize just a few elements—such as place settings, welcome signs, table numbers, favors, or the sugared almond table—or arrange for a more comprehensive design, depending on the venue and your needs.
Tell us about the occasion, the date, and what you imagine: we’ll work together to determine which details to create to bring your event to life.
