The " Kokeshi " tradition originated in Japan in the early 1800s. The word Kokeshi is the union of two words: Ko (Girl) and Keshi (Doll).
It was born as a small wooden doll with a simple shape which, thanks to the different decorations, identifies various meanings or feelings. Sharon, respecting the historical Japanese tradition, decorates these fantastic and brand new porcelain dolls, "animating" them with ambitious meanings.
The result is a wonderful mix of colors that draws inspiration from different cultures and makes the aesthetic result even more original. They are considered auspicious to be donated to special people as well as subjects sought after by collectors all over the world.
